Job summary

Hugo Reeves Recruitment in Stafford is seeking a Scheme Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a retirement scheme for residents over 55. The role is part-time, 20 hours per week across five days, and offers a 12-month fixed-term contract with a competitive hourly rate of £14.

You will manage tenancy matters, safety procedures, and liaise with residents, contractors and support agencies to maintain independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing, property management, or facilities management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage tenancy-related matters and scheme administration.
• Report and coordinate maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure health & safety, fire safety and security procedures are followed.
• Respond to emergencies and alarm calls appropriately.
• Encourage community engagement and social activities within the scheme.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Supervise cleaners/contractors where applicable.
