Curo Group in Bath is seeking a Part-Time Independent Living Scheme Manager for Meadow Court and Minerva Court. You will manage two older-person schemes, ensure safety, coordinate activity, and support residents with their wellbeing.
You're required to work 30 hours per week at site, with flexible patterns and no evenings or weekends. A UK driving licence is needed to visit both schemes and liaise with partners and services.
£20,982 per annum for 30 hours per week (£25,878 full-time equivalent) + benefits
Meadow Court and Minerva Court, Bath | Site-based
Permanent | Part Time | 30 hours per week | Flexible working pattern
Your Care. Our Communities. Safe, Connected Homes.
Some days you'll be testing fire alarms and making sure shared spaces are warm and welcoming. Others, you'll be helping someone settle into their new home, sorting out a worry before it grows or getting a coffee morning off the ground. It all adds up to the same thing: people aged over 55 living safely, on their own terms and as part of a community they value.
As our Scheme Manager, you'll look after two leasehold independent living schemes for over-55s in Bath, Meadow Court and Minerva Court. You'll split your week between them, keeping homes, shared spaces and facilities safe and well run while getting to know the people who live there.
You won't be doing it alone. You'll work closely with colleagues and local services so customers get joined-up support.
We're flexible on how you work your 30 hours. You could work them over four or five days, with start and finish times we agree together, such as 8.30am to 3.30pm or 10am to 5pm. There are no evening or weekend shifts. The role is fully site-based, so there's no option to work from home.
You're warm and approachable and you enjoy getting to know people. You can build trust with customers while keeping clear professional boundaries and you stay calm and consistent when things don't go to plan.
You don't need a housing background. Here's what we're looking for:
If you don't meet every point but you have the people skills and care about this kind of work, we'd encourage you to apply.
Beyond a salary of £20,982 for 30 hours per week (£25,878 full-time equivalent) and the chance to make a real difference every day, you'll get:
We're a leading South West housing association with social purpose at our heart. We provide affordable homes and create positive futures in our communities. We're proud to be among the UK's top 100 companies to work for, and the 5th best housing association nationwide.
We actively welcome applications from candidates who identify as disabled, LGBTQ+, from ethnic minority backgrounds, and from our Curo customers.
We're committed to making our recruitment process accessible to everyone - if you need any adjustments to help you apply or interview, please contact our recruitment team at recruitment@curo-group.co.uk
