Job summary

CIH International Housing Group is seeking a Scheme Manager for a live-in role at Broxbourne (Onsite Living). The role combines day-to-day scheme management with upkeep of gardens and communal areas, supporting residents aged 55+ to live independently while ensuring safety and aesthetic standards.

Role requires proactive resident engagement, strong organisation, and the ability to liaise with families, GPs, and external agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience working with older residents.
• Ability to stay calm in emergencies.
• Compassionate, approachable with strong relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support residents' wellbeing with daily welfare checks and oversight.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate needed support.
• Encourage social activities and build an inclusive community.
• Oversee gardening, grounds maintenance and safety checks.
• Coordinate with contractors and Repairs Team for repairs.
• Carry out minor maintenance tasks and report issues.
