The Highcrest Academy invites applications for an Inclusion/Behaviour Supervisor. You will support student wellbeing, supervise the Isolation Room, and work with pastoral and SEND teams to re-engage students with learning.

The role focuses on Inclusion, behaviour management, and mentoring within a caring school community. We offer a 9-day fortnight for permanent staff, potential on-site accommodation for relocations, and first-class facilities including a gym and canteen as part of our

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrates de-escalation strategies and calm presence in challenging situations.
• Ability to support reintegration and provide mentoring to students.
• Works effectively with pastoral and SEND teams to support inclusion.

Aufgaben

• Supervise students in Isolation Room and maintain a calm, respectful environment.
• Assist students with completing work and returning it to teachers.
• Reinforce expectations and explain reasons for placement.
• Collaborate with pastoral/SEND teams to support reintegration.
• Build mentoring relationships to help students overcome barriers to learning.
• Track attendance and behaviour, keeping accurate records.
• Promote positive behaviour and help resolve conflicts.
• Support vulnerable learners and contribute to personalised learning plans.
• Champion inclusion, equality and respect across the school.
