Job summary

Winsford Academy is seeking an Inclusion Manager to lead the RESET Inclusion Room, helping students complete work, access interventions and tutoring to close knowledge gaps. You will deescalate behaviour, work with the SENCo, behaviour team and classroom practitioners to adapt resources and monitor progress, promoting an inclusive learning environment for students with SEND or trauma-related needs.

• Experience in managing student behaviour and implementing inclusion strategies.
• Collaboration with SENCo, behaviour teams and classroom staff.
• Knowledge of SEND and trauma-informed approaches is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the RESET Inclusion Room to support students with gaps in learning.
• Deescalate behaviours so students can return to lessons.
• Collaborate with SENCo and practitioners to adapt resources and monitor progress.
• Promote an inclusive learning environment for SEND, mental health challenges, or trauma-affected students.
