Job summary

Broadoak Academy in Weston-super-Mare is seeking an Inclusion Supervisor to support students facing barriers to learning and help them engage positively with their education. You will manage behaviour in the inclusion provision, work with staff and families, and foster a calm, supportive environment that enables all learners to reflect, re-engage and succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

The role is full-time, 37 hours per week, term time plus inset days, with a fixed term contract

Qualifications

• Hold GCSEs English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
• Experience of working with young people in education or support roles.
• Commitment to improving life chances for all students and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Manage behaviour and supervise students in the inclusion provision.
• Support learning and help students re-engage with education.
• Build positive relationships with students, families and staff.
• Contribute to a calm, inclusive environment across the academy.
