Job summary

Marden Lodge Primary School in Caterham, Surrey, is seeking an inspirational Inclusion Base Teacher to lead specialist support for pupils with SEND. The post is permanent, 50% across five mornings, Monday to Friday, offering a strong work-life balance and real impact within our school community.

You will shape a personalised curriculum, coach a dedicated team, and contribute to strategic inclusion across the school, including SLCN, ASD, and SEMH needs.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or higher.
• Degree qualification and QTS.
• Commitment to specialist SEND training (SEMH, SLCN, Autism).
• Experience as an outstanding primary teacher.
• Extensive experience with pupils with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of a nurturing, personalised Inclusion Base curriculum.
• Drive high-quality provision for pupils with complex needs.
• Lead a committed team and support school-wide inclusion strategy.
• Provide flexible, short-term cover and cross-class support as needed.
