Job summary

Teach Plus Limited in Southall, Ealing, is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their welcoming primary school ASAP. You will lead a new inclusion base supporting pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties, including pre-verbal children, alongside those with SEMH.

You will plan and deliver learning in line with EHCP provision, direct a small team of teaching assistants, and contribute to CPD and school improvement while ensuring pupils access meaningful learning and make progress.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification.
• Experience as a SEN Teacher or in a similar role.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess personalised learning activities tailored to pupils with SLD, complex communication needs and SEMH, ensuring provision aligns with individual EHCP outcomes.
• Lead and direct a small team of teaching assistants, ensuring effective deployment, consistent support and positive learning experiences for all pupils.
• Develop and implement differentiated teaching strategies that support communication, engagement, independence and social development.
• Establish a safe, structured and nurturing inclusion base that promotes positive behaviour, emotional regulation and individual progress.
• Collaborate with the school's leadership team, SENCO, teaching assistants, families and external professionals to review pupil needs and maintain effective provision.
• Participate in weekly CPD sessions, contributing to the development of inclusive practice and the continuous improvement of the school's new inclusion provision.
