Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

We’re recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join an established business where you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, helping them understand their options, answering questions and providing the information they need to make the right decision.

This is a great opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys talking to customers, understanding what they need and finding the right solution, rather than simply processing enquiries.

You’ll handle a variety of inbound enquiries across phone, email and online channels, providing clear and accurate information, preparing quotations and guiding customers through the process from initial enquiry through to order.

There is naturally a commercial element to the role, as you’ll be expected to follow up enquiries and maximise opportunities to convert them into orders. However, this is very much about advising rather than hard selling, building trust, understanding the customer and making sure they have everything they need to move forward.

The Role

Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you’ll be responsible for managing customer enquiries and ensuring each customer receives a professional, helpful and positive experience.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Acting as a key point of contact for customers, responding to enquiries across phone, email and online channels.
• Taking the time to understand each customer’s requirements and providing appropriate information and guidance.
• Advising customers on products, options and solutions based on their individual needs.
• Explaining product information clearly and confidently, making sure customers understand their choices.
• Preparing accurate quotations and talking customers through the details.
• Following up enquiries and quotations in a timely and professional manner.
• Building rapport with customers and developing positive relationships throughout the enquiry and ordering process.
• Identifying opportunities to convert enquiries into orders through effective communication and customer service.
• Handling questions and objections confidently, addressing concerns and helping customers reach a decision.
• Keeping customer information, enquiries and follow‑up activity accurately recorded.
• Liaising with colleagues where additional information or support is required.
• Escalating more complex queries appropriately and ensuring customers receive a timely response.
• Working towards individual and team objectives while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Following company procedures and ensuring all customer interactions are handled professionally and accurately.

• Strong attention to detail, particularly when dealing with customer information and quotations.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries and follow‑ups.
• A positive, proactive and professional approach.
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider team.
