Job summary

One Stop, a Tesco subsidiary, is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our fast-paced Gloucester store. You will provide excellent service, stock shelves, process payments and help maintain the store’s appearance.

You will be at the heart of the customer experience, actively seeking feedback and covering multiple store areas while ensuring safe, compliant operations across shifts and any Post Office Local duties where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in retail environment.
• Ability to handle payments and operate tills.
• Willingness to work across multiple store areas.
• Commitment to safety, policy adherence and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to shoppers.
• Stock shelves and ensure products are well displayed.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, tidy store appearance and replenish stock as needed.
• Take part in on-the-job coaching and feedback to improve service.
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe shopping environment.
• Be flexible to cover shifts and assist across store operations, including Post Office Local if applicable.
