Job summary

One Stop, a Tesco subsidiary, seeks a Customer Service Assistant for its busy retail store. You will stock shelves, process payments, and contribute to a welcoming shopping environment while upholding store standards and safety rules.

You may be involved in post office operations where applicable, with related checks. You will work across multiple store areas, including tills, replenishment, and customer service, to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering excellent customer service in a busy retail environment.
• Able to stock shelves and process payments accurately.
• Committed to store presentation and safety procedures.
• Willing to participate in post office checks if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operations, stocking shelves and maintaining displays.
• Handle payments at the tills accurately.
• Assist across all store areas including online, tills, replenishment, vending and stock routines.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and feedback to improve service.
• Ensure safety procedures and personal safety equipment are followed.
