Job summary

One Stop, a Tesco subsidiary, is recruiting a Customer Service Assistant to join its fast-paced retail team in Ipswich. You will help with stock replenishment, process payments and maintain the store’s appearance to ensure a smooth customer experience.

You will focus on delivering excellent service, seeking feedback from customers and following safety procedures. If applicable, you may assist with Post Office Local duties and cover shifts in the absence of leadership.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Stock shelves, process payments and maintain store appearance.
• Follow safety procedures and wear safety equipment where available.
• Encourage customer feedback and support on-the-job coaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist in store operations.
• Stock shelves and replenish stock as needed.
• Process payments at the tills and handle cash transactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety, following security procedures.
• Assist with seasonal, community and charity events.
• Support the Store Leader in covering shifts when required.
