Job summary

One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco, is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will provide excellent customer service, stock shelves, process payments and help maintain the store's appearance.

You will work across all areas of the store to ensure tasks meet customer needs, and follow safety procedures during shifts. If this store has a Post Office Local, duties include day-to-day post office operations and required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to shoppers
• Stock shelves and assist with store presentation
• Process payments at tills and help maintain store appearance
• Assist across store areas including online orders, tills, replenishment, and stock routines
• Follow safety procedures and participate in training to keep the team and customers safe
• Engage with customers to capture feedback and maintain a welcoming store environment
• If applicable, assist with day-to-day Post Office Local operations and complete required background checks
