Job summary
Michael Page Legal is seeking an In House Litigation Solicitor for a West Yorkshire-based role. You will manage a portfolio of defendant litigation matters from pre-action through to resolution, advising on strategy and settlement opportunities while ensuring deadlines and procedural requirements are met.
You will work with paralegals and legal operations, contribute to process improvements and develop best practice documentation.
Qualifications
- Experience handling defendant litigation matters and complex claims.
- Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and court deadlines.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision and communicate with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of defendant litigation matters from pre-action to resolution.
- Advise on strategy, risk, settlements and procedural compliance.
- Collaborate with paralegals and legal operations to deliver outcomes.
- Support process improvement initiatives and develop best practice documentation.
- Mentor colleagues and share knowledge within the team.
