Yorkshire Pie Company in West Yorkshire is seeking an In House Litigation Solicitor to manage a varied defendant litigation caseload across employers liability, public liability, road traffic accident, property damage and consumer disputes.

Qualifications

• A Solicitor or CILEX lawyer with litigation practice rights.
• Experienced in litigation with Civil Procedure Rules.
• Capable of managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
• Commercially aware and able to communicate with stakeholders at different levels.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of defendant litigation matters from pre-action to resolution.
• Advising on legal strategy, risk, settlement opportunities and compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
• Working closely with paralegals, managers and senior stakeholders to ensure effective outcomes and excellent client service.
• Supporting legal operations initiatives, process improvements, reporting and the development of best practice documentation.
• Contributing to colleague development through mentoring, feedback and knowledge sharing.

Description

Job Offer

• Competitive salary between £40,000 and £50,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Hybrid working, 2 days in office
