Managing a portfolio of defendant litigation matters from pre action through to resolution, including higher value and complex claims.
Advising on legal strategy, risk, settlement opportunities and compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
Working closely with paralegals, managers and senior stakeholders to ensure effective outcomes and excellent client service.
Supporting legal operations initiatives, process improvements, reporting and the development of best practice documentation.
Contributing to colleague development through mentoring, feedback and knowledge sharing.

Managing a portfolio of defendant litigation matters from pre action through to resolution, including higher value and complex claims

Profile

A Solicitor or CILEX lawyer with litigation practice rights
Experienced in litigation with a strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules
Comfortable managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision
Commercially aware and confident communicating with stakeholders at different levels
Interested in legal technology, process improvement and modern ways of working

Job Offer

Competitive salary between £40,000 and £50,000, dependent on the level of experience.
Hybrid working, 2 days in office
25 days annual leave plus the option to purchase up to 5 additional days.
