The role covers a varied portfolio of defendant litigation, from pre-action to resolution, with a focus on strategy, risk and compliant deadlines. You will collaborate with paralegals and stakeholders to drive outcomes and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Solicitor or CILEX lawyer with litigation practice rights.
• Experienced in litigation with a strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules.
• Comfortable managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision.

• Interested in legal technology, process improvement and modern ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of defendant litigation matters from pre action through to resolution, including higher value and complex claims
• Advising on legal strategy, risk, settlement opportunities and compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements
• Working closely with paralegals, managers and senior stakeholders to ensure effective outcomes and excellent client service
• Supporting legal operations initiatives, process improvements, reporting and the development of best practice documentation

Job Offer

• Competitive salary between £40,000 and £50,000, dependent on the level of experience.
