Optalis in Wokingham Borough Council is seeking a Reablement Assistant for the START team to deliver short-term rehabilitation in clients' homes. The role uses a therapy-based approach to help people regain independence over up to six weeks, with visits across weekdays, evenings and weekends.

You will travel around the borough, reflecting Optalis core values in day-to-day work, supported by a paid training programme.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check with adult barred list.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Own transport available at all times.
• Business car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver short-term rehabilitation to people in their own homes, for up to six weeks.
• Use a therapy-based approach to set and meet rehabilitation goals.
• Promote maximum independence for each person supported.
• Travel around Wokingham Borough between visits.
