Job summary

Surrey County Council is recruiting an Occupational Therapist for the East 2 Reablement Team. You will assess clients in their homes and develop personalised skills gain plans to promote independence and recovery, using a strengths-based approach and working with the wider Reablement team to deliver personalised interventions.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist is required.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to complete holistic assessments and write person-led skills gain programmes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Reablement colleagues and partners.
• Valid driving licence to travel across the area.

Responsibilities

• Complete holistic assessments in people's homes and develop personalised skills gain programmes.
• Promote independence, confidence and recovery through strengths-based practice.
• Embed professional expertise within the wider Reablement team and support colleagues.
• Support service development and contribute to coaching and supervision.
