Optalis in Wokingham Borough Council is seeking a Reablement Assistant for the START team to deliver short-term rehabilitation in clients' homes. The role uses a therapy-based approach to help people regain independence over up to six weeks, with visits across weekdays, evenings and weekends.

You will travel around the borough, reflecting Optalis core values in day-to-day work, supported by a paid training programme.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check with adult barred list.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Own transport available at all times.
• Business car insurance.

A Reablement Assistant post in the Short-Term Assessment and Reablement Team (START), an intermediate care service run by Optalis for Wokingham Borough Council. The work is short-term rehabilitation of up to six weeks, helping people regain independence in their own homes through a therapy-based approach. Suited to people with support or care experience, the role runs across weekdays, evenings and weekends and needs a car, with business insurance. An Enhanced DBS check with the adult barred list is required.
