Job summary

Altogether Care is seeking Reablement Workers to support clients in their own homes across South Devon. You’ll help people regain independence, working with families and professionals to enable meaningful goals.

We offer competitive pay (£13.80–£14.30 per hour), a permanent contract, induction and ongoing training, mileage allowance and wellbeing benefits. A Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required to travel between homes.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Experience within reablement work is welcome but not essential; full training provided.
• Willingness to travel across communities to visit clients in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients and families to support independence at home.
• Plan and help clients achieve personal goals through in-home reablement activities.
• Provide physical and emotional support while promoting dignity and choice.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate progress to the team.
• Identify safeguarding needs and follow company policies and procedures.
