Job summary

Top Tier Talentees is recruiting on behalf of a specialist complex-care provider to support teenagers and young adults with learning disabilities and mental health conditions in the community. The role involves home and community-based support with 2:1, 3:1 or 4:1 staffing, across Malvern and other locations in the Midlands, North & South.

Locations include Malvern, Dudley, Nottingham, Greater Manchester, Harrogate, Doncaster and Southampton.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience supporting people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and behaviours that challenge.
• Experience of de-escalation and physical intervention (e.g. PBS, MAPA, PROACT-SCIPr, Team Teach, CPI).
• Experience of intensive 1:1, 2:1 or higher-ratio support in community or supported-living settings.
• The right to work in the UK. This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
• A driving licence is desirable and essential for some locations.

Responsibilities

• Providing consistent, person-centred support in the individual's own home and community
• Using positive behaviour support, de-escalation and, where trained and necessary, physical intervention
• Supporting daily living, activities, routines and wellbeing
• Recording incidents and daily notes accurately and working closely with the wider team
