Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd presents an exciting Support Worker opportunity in the West Midlands, focusing on person-centred care for a young individual with complex needs in a residential setting. The role involves day and night shifts, with a permanent full-time contract and a generous benefits package.

The successful candidate will provide 3:1 or 4:1 support, assist with daily living tasks, monitor wellbeing and maintain records while upholding dignity and privacy.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to build professional and trusting relationships with individuals and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3:1 or 4:1 person-centred support within the home.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, medication and daily living needs.
• Provide emotional support and companionship, encouraging independence and individual choice.
• Support with behaviours following care plans and positive behaviour support approaches.
• Maintain wellbeing, accurate care records and follow safeguarding procedures.
