Import/Export Controller | Cambridge| £35k DOE

Are you highly organised with a keen eye for detail and knowledge of either import or export? This is an opportunity to join a dynamic supply chain team where your expertise in import/export compliance will make a real impact.

As an Import/Export Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring shipments to and from global customers and suppliers are processed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring adherence to all import and export procedures and controls
  • Processing shipments to and from global customers and suppliers
  • Completing accurate documentation as per customer and country‑specific requirements
  • Auditing import declarations to ensure compliance with HMRC procedures
  • Liaising with carriers to ensure timely collections and delivery schedules
Experience
  • Knowledge of stock movement transactions
  • Strong knowledge of logistics compliance and documentation
  • Experience managing workload efficiently within a busy department
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Skilled use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
