Durham County Council is seeking a housing support worker to assist individuals and families with complex needs in moving from rough sleeping to stable accommodation. You will deliver trauma-informed, person-centred interventions and manage a caseload with medium to high support needs.

You will collaborate with social and private landlords, provide budgeting and debt advice, work with partner organisations, attend multi-agency meetings, and stay updated on housing legislation and best practice.

Competenze

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a housing or support related field.
• Experience of delivering therapeutic interventions.
• Experience supporting clients with rough sleeping, substance misuse and mental health issues.

Mansioni

• Plan and deliver person-centred therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs.
• Manage a caseload with medium to high support needs.
• Help clients move from rough sleeping into suitable accommodation.
• Work with social and private landlords to secure and maintain housing.
• Assist budgeting, income maximisation and debt advice.
