Job summary

Telford & Wrekin Council is seeking a Tenancy Sustainment Officer to help clients maintain their tenancy and prevent homelessness. You will engage face-to-face with customers and work in an office environment with some home-based tasks.

You will assist tenants and landlords with budgeting, tenancy guidance and linking with relevant support services. Full training will be provided for motivated candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to clients to help them maintain their tenancy and prevent homelessness.
• Work with both tenant and landlord to ensure tenancy is sustained.
• Offer budgeting advice, tenancy guidance and connection to other support services.
