Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking SEND Tutors to provide one-to-one support for children and young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and PMLD. Roles include Specialist Teacher, Intervention Tutor, and SEND Teacher, with rolling interviews and ongoing hiring.

Positions offer in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching options, flexible hours, and a mission to ensure no student is left behind in an alternative provision setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Demonstrated ability to work holistically in trauma-informed settings.
• QTS or QTLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring to SEND learners.
• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs.
• Plan and report on lessons with regular progress feedback.
