Job summary

SENse Learning in the United Kingdom is seeking SEND Tutors to deliver one-to-one support for children and young people with SEMH and SEND, across home, community, and school settings. Roles are offered on a self-employed basis with flexible hours and a choice of in-person, hybrid, or remote teaching.

You will work with QTS/QTLS, DBS, and 2+ references, building trauma-informed, student-centred tutoring aligned to EHCPs to help learners achieve education goals and progress.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
• Child-centred, holistic teaching approach
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
• UK-based with right to work

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with SEND learners in home and community settings
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring tailored to EHCPs
• Plan lessons and report progress with regular feedback
