Job summary

SENse Learning seeks Intervention Tutors to provide one-to-one support for pupils with SEND/SEMH across KS1–KS5. Roles include delivering bespoke sessions, planning sessions with carers and schools, and reporting on progress in a trauma-informed, student-centered manner.

You will work in-person, online/remote, or hybrid, with flexible scheduling and a self-employed arrangement. All tutors are supported by a team-focused environment and safeguarding-focused practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD
• Understanding of child-centred, holistic teaching approaches
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1-to-1 bespoke interventions to re-engage pupils
• Plan and report on lessons and provide progress feedback
• Deliver in-person, online/remote and hybrid tutoring sessions
• Collaborate with families, carers and schools to tailor tutoring to EHCPs and risk assessments
• Support a range of SEND/SEMH needs across KS1–KS5 as appropriate
