Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade A*-C or Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy.
• Proven experience working with children in an educational setting and knowledge of the national curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Targeted Support: Plan and deliver structured intervention programs for individuals and small groups.
• Classroom Leadership: Provide cover supervision and lead learning activities as directed by class teachers.
• SEND & Inclusion: Assess pupil progress, adapt learning materials, and support individual education plans (IEPs).
• Monitoring & Reporting: Track pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and keep accurate academic records.
• Mentoring: Act as a positive role model and offer informal guidance to Level 1 and 2 TAs where appropriate.
