Job summary

Watergrove Trust and Wardle Academy are seeking two Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team. You will work with class teachers to deliver targeted support, run small group interventions, and assist in planning learning activities to raise attainment.

Applicants should hold Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching and Learning, GCSEs at A*-C, and demonstrate excellent communication, behaviour management, and organisational skills; SEND experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools and GCSE English/Maths at A*-C.
• Proven experience with children in an educational setting and knowledge of the national curriculum.
• Excellent communication, behaviour management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver targeted intervention programs for individuals and small groups.
• Provide cover supervision and lead learning activities as directed by class teachers.
• Assess pupil progress, adapt learning materials, and support individual education plans (IEPs).
• Track pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and keep accurate academic records.
• Mentor Level 1 and 2 TAs with guidance and support.
