Job summary

Sellick Partnership is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor for a 12-month hybrid role based in Coventry. The role is the first point of contact for employee relations cases, advising managers on discipline, grievances, and absences.

You will support investigations, review documentation, and help drive policy improvements while maintaining confidential records. The ideal candidate will have strong employment law knowledge, ER best practices, and excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Experience in Employee Relations Advisor, HR Advisor or HR Case Management role.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and ER best practice.
• Experience managing disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence cases.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence cases.
• Support and oversee employee relations investigations, ensuring cases are managed fairly, consistently and in line with policy.
• Review case documentation, prepare reports and support managers through formal hearings and processes.
• Analyse employee relations trends and provide insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Assist with the development and review of employee relations policies and procedures.
• Build effective relationships with managers, HR colleagues, trade unions and key stakeholders across the business.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations records, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice.
• Contribute to projects and initiatives that enhance employee relations processes and the overall employee experience.
