Job summary

GSF Car Parts Limited is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to provide expert ER support across our branch network and support functions. You will work with managers to resolve disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and ACAS guidelines.

This hybrid role is based at our head office in Wolverhampton, with coaching and training responsibilities to improve engagement, wellbeing, and organisational performance across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Employee Relations or HR Advisor role with significant ER exposure.
• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice.
• Confident managing disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance cases end-to-end.
• Excellent communication skills—able to explain complex issues clearly to managers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with changing priorities.
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Employee Relations Case Management across the branch network.
• Provide timely advice to managers on disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and conduct matters.
• Manage a varied ER case load end-to-end with fair process and accurate documentation.
• Attend formal ER meetings (virtual or on-site) and support managers.
• Escalate and resolve complex cases in collaboration with the ER Manager or HRBP.
• Maintain up-to-date ER case records, trackers and reports.
• Support policy reviews and ensure consistent policy application across the business.
