Job summary

At Lithia UK, we offer a Vehicle Technician Apprentice position that blends hands-on dealership experience with structured training and a mentor’s support. You’ll work toward an IMI Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Servicing and Maintenance, with no prior automotive experience required.

You’ll learn to service and diagnose vehicles, carry out checks and inspections, and produce time estimates while keeping accurate service records.

Qualifications

• No prior automotive experience required; training provided.
• Must have GCSE English, Maths and Science at minimum grades.
• Commitment to learning and a positive attitude throughout the apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Learn to service vehicles following clear instructions.
• Learn to diagnose, repair and replace vehicle parts and components.
• Carry out vehicle checks and inspections.
• Produce time estimates for repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain repair and service records on the in-house system.
