Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is seeking a dedicated PACS and Order Communications Administrator to oversee daily checks and system administration in a busy digital environment at the Oxford Road Campus in Manchester.

You will monitor your workload, coordinate cover, and contribute to the training of junior staff, ensuring safe practice and adherence to SOPs while supporting the Trust's Digital First strategy and ambitious data-enabled care improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong teamwork to support a busy digital service.
• Good communication skills with clinical and non-clinical colleagues.
• Experience in training or mentoring junior staff is beneficial.
• Ability to monitor and manage own workload and meet SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for ensuring daily checks and system administration duties are carried out by the junior PACS and Order Comms Administrators, timely and per SOPs.
• Monitor and manage own designated workload.
• Coordinate cross-cover and leave in line with departmental arrangements.
• Aid in the training of junior PACS and Order Comms Support Administrators, ensuring safe practice.
