Job summary

UHDB NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Senior Radiographic Imaging Information Systems Administrator within the PACS/RIS team. You will support operation of Imaging Information systems (PACS, RIS, voice recognition, IEP) and links with EPR across UHDB and wider Health Community.

Working under the Imaging Information Systems Manager, you will monitor RIS/PACS/EPR, assist with upgrades and future Radiology IT projects, and lead training and support for Imaging staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance, development and integration of all imaging IT systems across UHDB sites, liaising with third party suppliers as required.
• Support RIS/PACS/EPR system upgrades, testing and user acceptance as part of ongoing IT projects.
• Provide supervision and guidance to support staff and training on Radiology clinical systems to Imaging staff.
• Attend outside of normal hours as required to ensure 24x7 availability of PACS and RIS.
• Carry out regular audits to assess data quality and support efficient system workflows.
