Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is seeking an Imaging PACS Administrator to join the Digital Service for the Hive EPR implementation. The role is Band 4, full-time, with on-call duties and a salary of £28,392–£31,157 per annum, pro rata for part-time.

Qualifications

• General Education to GCSE standard or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to work in a healthcare IT environment with appropriate training.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for ensuring that all daily checks and system administration duties are carried out by the junior PACS and Order Comms Administrators, in a timely manner and in accordance with the provided Standard Operating Procedures.
• To monitor and manage own designated workload.
• Ensuring the cross cover of colleagues and co-ordination of leave in line with departmental arrangements
• To aid in the training of the junior PACS and Order Comms Support Administrators, ensuring safe practice.
