Welbeck Cambridge is seeking a PACS/Imaging Administrator to support the smooth operation of imaging systems and ensure clinicians access accurate diagnostic information quickly.

You will be the first point of contact for imaging queries, provide first-line IT support across PACS, RIS and related platforms, and work with clinical teams to enhance patient pathways while upholding governance and data privacy.

Formación

• Experience with imaging systems (PACS or RIS) in a healthcare setting.
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and patient-focused approach.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the first point of contact for imaging system queries, incidents, and service requests, triaging and resolving issues to achieve first-time fixes.
• Provide first-line support for PACS, RIS, and associated imaging systems and equipment.
• Support the upload, download, and transfer of patient imaging across systems (e.g. PACS, IEP, CIMAR).
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards.
• Manage and prioritise incidents, service requests, and system maintenance tasks.
• Liaise with clinicians, radiographers, and administrative teams to support efficient patient pathways.
• Support the implementation of new systems, technologies, and improved ways of working.
• Assist with reporting, communications, and responding to urgent clinician and patient requests.
• Escalate incidents, complaints, and risks appropriately in line with governance processes.
• Contribute to audits, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support service delivery and patient care.
