Job summary

Sodexo is recruiting a senior IFM Contract Manager to lead integrated facilities management across the University of Greenwich estate. You will oversee hard and soft FM services, align with campus stakeholders and drive a people-centric workplace experience.

Reporting to the Head of Facilities Management, you will build high-performing teams, manage budgets, ensure compliance, and deliver exceptional service standards across multiple campuses.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing hard and soft FM services in a large, complex environment.
• Proven track record in Integrated Facilities Management (IFM).

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational delivery of integrated facilities management services across campus operations.

• Monitor performance against KPIs, SLAs and contractual obligations.

• Identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Support emergency and out-of-hours response when required.

• 40hrs pw Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm with flexibility required to cover on call rota

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Facilities Management & Workplace Experience, you'll lead the delivery of high-quality hard and soft FM services across campus operations while championing a people-first workplace experience.

You'll work closely with university stakeholders, operational teams and Sodexo leadership to ensure services consistently exceed expectations and contractual requirements.

This role offers significant scope to influence strategy, drive innovation and embed best-in-class FM practices across the estate.

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for a confident and experienced Facilities Management professional who combines operational expertise with strong leadership and customer focus.

You’ll have:

• Extensive experience managing both hard and soft FM services within a large, complex environment
• A proven track record in Integrated Facilities Management (IFM)
• Strong leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams
• Experience creating outstanding workplace and customer experiences
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
• Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience
• Experience analysing performance data and driving service improvements
• Knowledge of compliance, health & safety legislation and industry best practice
• Experience working with CAFM/CMMS systems and performance reporting tools
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for continual improvement
