Mitie Group plc. is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of integrated facilities management services across multiple strands, including Front of House, Workplace Experience, Cleaning and Security.

You will manage teams, performance metrics and budgets while ensuring top-tier client relationships and service excellence. The role requires strong leadership, a track record in corporate FM, and proficiency with CAFM systems and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of integrated Facilities Management services.
  • Manage Front of House, Workplace Experience, Cleaning, Security and Soft Services teams.
  • Build and maintain relationships with client stakeholders and service partners.
  • Drive service excellence, innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage operational performance, KPIs, budgets and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards.
  • Oversee third-party suppliers and subcontractor performance.
  • Use CAFM systems and analytics to inform decisions and improve service delivery.
  • Promote accountability, collaboration and customer focus across all service lines.

Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facilities Management professional who thrives on delivering outstanding customer experiences, building high-performing teams and developing strong client partnerships. You will play a key role in ensuring the workplace remains safe, welcoming, efficient and aligned with industry-leading standards.

What You'll Do
  • Leading the day-to-day delivery of integrated Facilities Management services.
  • Managing Workplace Experience, Front of House, Cleaning, Security and Soft Services teams.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with client stakeholders and service partners.
  • Driving service excellence, innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Managing operational performance, KPIs, budgets and financial reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards.
  • Overseeing third-party suppliers and subcontractor performance.
  • Using CAFM systems, service analytics and reporting tools to inform decision-making and improve service delivery.
  • Promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration and customer focus across all service lines.

Proven experience in a Facilities Manager, Workplace Manager or similar leadership role within a corporate environment.

  • Experience managing integrated Facilities Management services across multiple service lines.
  • Strong people management skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience overseeing Front of House, Workplace Experience, Cleaning and Security services.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong understanding of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental compliance.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and report-writing skills.
  • Proficiency in CAFM systems and performance reporting tools., IWFM qualification or equivalent Facilities Management accreditation.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
  • Experience supporting newly mobilised or newly occupied workplace environments.
  • Knowledge of smart building technology and workplace experience platforms.
  • Experience delivering wellbeing initiatives and workplace engagement activities.
  • Understanding of sustainability and environmental performance within FM operations.
