Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Facilities Management leader to drive IFM across the University of Greenwich estate, delivering exceptional workplace experiences for students, staff and visitors.

You will lead cross-campus operations, manage budgets, ensure compliance, and develop high-performing teams while partnering with university stakeholders to shape long-term service strategy.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing both hard and soft FM services in a large, complex environment.
• Proven track record in Integrated Facilities Management (IFM).
• Strong leadership experience with ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Experience creating outstanding workplace and customer experiences.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience.
• Experience analysing performance data and driving service improvements.
• Knowledge of compliance, health & safety legislation and industry best practice.
• Experience working with CAFM/CMMS systems and performance reporting tools.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for continual improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational delivery of integrated facilities management services across multiple campuses.
• Build trusted relationships with key university stakeholders and clients.
• Create exceptional workplace experiences that place people, wellbeing and customer satisfaction at the heart of service delivery.
• Drive statutory and regulatory compliance across all FM activities.
• Monitor performance against KPIs, SLAs and contractual obligations.
• Manage campus budgets and support financial processes.
• Lead and develop teams to achieve high standards of service excellence.
• Oversee grounds maintenance services and fleet compliance.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Support emergency and out-of-hours response when required.
• Contribute to strategic planning and long-term service development.
