Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an FM Project Manager to lead facilities management projects across University of Greenwich Avery Hill, Greenwich and Medway campuses. This onsite role focuses on delivering world-class campus environments and sustainable assets while coordinating multiple stakeholders.

Based mainly at Avery Hill, you’ll manage end-to-end task orders, drive project delivery from concept through to completion, and ensure safety, compliance and value for the client.

• Experience in facilities management, building services or estates environments.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Comfort with estimates, quotations and project administration.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient IT skills, including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Task Order process with efficient, compliant delivery.
• Manage project requests from client instruction through to invoicing.
• Produce accurate estimates and quotations for remedial works.
• Collaborate with operations, contractors, suppliers and university stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, milestones, budgets and reporting requirements.
• Ensure safety, compliance and proper project documentation.

About the Role

This isn't your typical project role. You'll be at the heart of a fast-paced operation, managing multiple workstreams, coordinating stakeholders, driving task orders from concept through to completion, and helping to deliver real improvements across a vibrant university estate.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Head of Projects, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end Task Order process, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly and with a strong customer focus.

• Managing project requests from initial client instruction through to completion and invoicing.


• Producing accurate estimates and quotations for remedial and small works projects.


• Collaborating with operational teams, contractors, suppliers and university stakeholders.


• Managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and compliance standards.


• Monitoring project progress, milestones, budgets and reporting requirements.


• Raising and managing purchase orders and project documentation.


• Supporting commercial opportunities and helping identify ways to add value to our client partnership.


• Ensuring all works are delivered safely, compliantly and in line with legislation and best practice.


• Maintaining accurate project data, reports and tracking systems

What We’re Looking For

We're seeking someone who combines strong project coordination skills with commercial awareness and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

• Experience within Facilities Management, Building Services, Projects or Estates environments.


• A good understanding of FM services, ideally within a university or large complex environment.


• Strong organisational and time management skills.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.


• Confidence working with estimates, quotations and project administration.


• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.


• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.


• The ability to manage competing priorities and remain calm under pressure.
