Job summary

The Netherhall School is seeking a proactive ICT support professional to work across AnglianLearning sites. You will apply GCSE-level education and demonstrate proficiency in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, and general ICT knowledge.

The role requires strong organisation, confidentiality, and the ability to train colleagues, travel between sites, and contribute to safeguarding and the development of ICT in schools.

Qualifications

  • Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent qualifications / experience) with a good standard of general education.
  • Previous experience of working in a technicalsupport role.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Windows10/11.
  • Working knowledge of common user applications,including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience of working with Microsoft 365.
  • Knowledge of ICT hardware and software.
  • A working knowledge of networking.
  • An understanding of the diagnostic process.
  • Organisational skills in relation to systems,users and equipment An eye for detail and aptitude for methodical recordkeeping.
  • Ability to work independently andcollaboratively with colleagues.
  • Good communication skills, including the abilityto patiently support and advise non-expert colleagues.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Flexibility in relation to tasks carried outwithin broad remit.
  • Ability to reliably maintain confidentiality.
  • An interest in education.
  • Commitment to the ongoing development of ICTprovision in schools.
  • To be able to lead and take responsibility forprojects.
  • Willingness to work within establishedframeworks.
  • Ability to train, teach and demonstrate skillsto colleagues.
  • Highest levels of integrity and probity and acommitment to highest levels of effort, endeavour and focus on standards.
  • Openness combined with commitment to goodgovernance.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting thewelfare of children and young people.
  • Be able to travel regularly between AnglianLearning sites.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to work outsidenormal working hours when required to meet the requirements of the Trust.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage timeeffectively using initiative and problem-solving skills as required.
  • Energy and enthusiasm for the role anddelivering a service that strives for excellence.
  • Commitment to personal and professionaldevelopment.
  • Be a team player with the ability to work as ateam as well an independently.
