Job summary

Oasis Community Learning in the North East invites applications for a Cluster Technician who will support ICT across our academies. You will work with staff and students to troubleshoot issues, maintain systems and help deliver technology that enhances teaching and learning.

Regular travel between Scunthorpe, Immingham and Grimsby is required. We value a hands-on IT background, proactive problem solving and clear communication.

• Provide desktop, classroom and desk side IT support to staff and students.

• Support Windows operating systems and educational applications.
• Assist with server and network maintenance and updates.
• Manage support requests through the Oasis service desk.
• Maintain ICT asset registers and documentation.
• Support deployment of new technologies for teaching and learning.
• Ensure safeguarding and security systems remain operational.

As a Cluster Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our ICT systems operate effectively across our North East academies. Working closely with staff, students and the wider IT team, you'll provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, maintain systems and help deliver innovative technology solutions that support teaching and learning. Regular travel between academies within the cluster will be required (Scunthorpe, Immingham and Grimsby)

About the Role

Responsibilities will include:

• Provide desktop, classroom and desk side IT support to staff and students.

• Assist with server and network maintenance, security and updates.
• Manage and respond to support requests through the Oasis service management system.
• Maintain ICT asset registers and technical documentation.
• Support the deployment of new technologies and strategic IT initiatives.
• Ensure safeguarding and security systems remain operational and up to date.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build strong relationships across our academies.
