Job summary

Ormiston Latimer Academy is seeking an IT Technician to support staff and students across multiple London sites. The role is hands-on, delivering first‑line and some second‑line support with a cloud‑first transformation programme.

You will be based mainly at the Latimer Academy with travel between London academies expected. The successful candidate will build relationships with staff and contribute to technology empowering teaching and learning.

Qualifications

• Experienced in providing IT support in a workplace environment.
• Skilled in troubleshooting hardware, software, and devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, mobiles).
• Confident using Microsoft 365, Azure, Teams, SharePoint, and Active Directory.
• Able to explain technical information clearly to non‑technical users.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive, approachable support to staff and students.
• Build strong, trusted relationships across each academy.
• Support the delivery and management of cloud‑first initiatives.
• Offer technical guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
• Work with senior staff to ensure technology supports teaching, learning and the wider school community.

Are you an enthusiastic IT professional with a passion for helping people and a knack for problem‑solving? We’re looking for a proactive, customer‑focused IT Technician to support our staff and students across multiple academy sites in West London.

This hands‑on role is primarily based at Ormiston Latimer Academy, but flexibility to travel between our London academies is essential.

As an IT Technician, you’ll be a key part of our on‑site technical support team delivering high‑quality first‑line and some second‑line support, while also getting involved in exciting developments as part of our cloud‑first transformation programme.
