Job summary

A regional educational institution in Derry/Londonderry is seeking an Associate Technical Consultant in Engineering for a 1 year fixed-term contract. This role involves providing technical support to staff, industry, and students, while developing relationships in Engineering and Industry 4.0 technologies. Qualifications

• Experience of Industry 4.0 technologies including robotics, automation, electronics and smart manufacturing.
• Current driving licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Provide up-skilling support, including specialist training for industry within the area of specialism.
• Prepare materials, deliver presentations and provide demonstrations.
• Create standard operating procedures for I4.0 equipment.
• Carry out monthly health & safety audits and risk assessments.
• Assist with the ordering of materials and maintenance of stock control system.
