Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a Training Solution Architect to join our team in a hybrid role supporting the UK MOD’s Integrated Training Solution. You will coordinate courseware, training devices, and training media across stakeholders, ensuring a coherent training pipeline and successful handovers to end users.

Primarily home-based but travel to internal and customer meetings may be required. You should be eligible for BPSS and SC clearance and have experience with submarine systems, defence training

Qualifications

• Recent experience in the operation of and training of complex submarine systems.
• Experience implementing integration projects.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Defence training systems.
• Problem analysis and resolution in a secure environment.
• Experience working across all security classifications and delivery of solutions delivered through the Secure by Design principles.
• Ability to quickly form effective working relationships with all stakeholders required.
• Configuration management processes and systems.
• Possess, or be capable of obtaining, Security Clearance.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Identify issues impacting delivery of training systems into the training environment and develop solutions.
• Liaise with specialists to identify on-site training system element requirements.
• Develop relationships with external stakeholders.
• Oversee integration of course elements, devices, and courseware from development to installation and commissioning.
• Act as subject matter expert on installation, commissioning, and handover to support project delivery.
• Ensure successful handover with Transition to Service Plans, Operation Manuals, and Training Guides.
• Work with IA and Safety & Environmental leads to meet device requirements.
• Coordinate with Courseware and Media teams to satisfy external requirements.
• Work with security representatives to comply with handling of protected materials.
• Provide regular reporting against metrics to ensure confidence in integration activities.
