Babcock is seeking a Solution Architect to shape technical solutions for submarine fleet maintenance within its Digital Solutions unit. Based in a hybrid setup, you will craft high‑level designs and lead delivery across government and partners.

The role focuses on secure, scalable solutions and requires experience in architecture frameworks, stakeholder engagement, and complex systems integration. A clear path for growth and security‑cleared work is provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical architecture and solution design using Sparx EA and ArchiMate.
• Ability to communicate and manage stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong understanding of security principles and governance.
• Experience designing and delivering complex systems integration solutions.

Responsibilities

• Scope functional and non‑functional requirements and translate into high‑level designs.
• Define system components, integrations and data flows with modern technologies.
• Present designs to stakeholders via workshops, proposals and visuals.
• Lead technical delivery, manage risks and collaborate with software partners for deployment.
• Ensure solutions align with architectural strategies and standards.
