Job summary

Raytheon UK seeks an experienced Systems Engineer based in Winnersh, hybrid working. You will drive system definition from requirements through acceptance, with a focus on training devices and defence programmes.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and sub‑contractors to mature requirements and support procurement cycles. The role requires eligibility for BPSS and SC clearance, a relevant degree, and strong experience in model-based systems engineering and configuration management.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or equivalent training.
• Strong experience in systems engineering and the V-model.
• Experience with systems engineering standards and acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge of Systems of Systems development.
• Ability to collaborate in a multi‑discipline environment.
• Hands-on configuration management experience.

Responsibilities

• Define work packages and technical requirements with the Solution Architect.
• Contribute to execution and delivery of key work packages.
• Undertake activities related to product specification and qualification.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to procure and implement training devices.
• Support subcontractors in design and build of training devices.
• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.
• Champion EHS compliance and continuous improvement culture.
• Assist in meeting programme needs through problem resolution.
