Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a skilled Training Designer to join the Training Transformation Services. You will develop blended, engaging training content for the Royal Navy and ensure designs meet DSAT and quality standards.

Working within a collaborative team, you will create e-learning and courseware, manage design changes, build stakeholder relationships, and support accreditation efforts while maintaining a strong focus on learner outcomes and safety.

Qualifications

• A previous role with a Learning and Development environment.
• ADDIE model and Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT).
• Training and/or Instructional Design.
• Program management tools and applications.
• Knowledge and practical experience of UK Ministry of Defence procedures and policies.
• Contributing within a team environment for developing creative solutions to technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for training courses, creating active, engaging, learner-centric content.
• Ensure DSAT-compliant processes and quality with media enhancements.
• Produce high-quality Training design, e-learning and courseware materials.
• Develop instructional strategy and implement changes to training programmes.
• Proactively seek feedback and validation to keep training up-to-date.
• Build stakeholder relationships to support training transformation.
• Identify accreditation opportunities for new or amended training.
• Continuous professional development and health and safety responsibilities.
